Young At Heart : back to Ministries

Young at Heart group has been meeting for about 20 years.
This group does not have any age restrictions; the only membership
requirement is one must be "young at heart." The purposes of
this group are to glorify God, to serve the local congregation,
and to promote fellowship among the group and the congregation.
We meet the third Tuesday of every month at
the building, and we are always open to all "drop-ins."
Our meetings consist of a short devotional, prayers, and a "pot
luck" meal. At some of our meetings we have speakers on topics of
interest to our group. Of course, a key element of each meeting
is fellowship.
Over the years, we have planned several special activities. For
several years we have hosted an annual Golden Age Rally. We have
taken trips to points of interest and special events in our area.
We have hosted several
functions in which we honor special age groups or people.

Students from community college

Moments Chapel,
Local emu ranch,
Dogwood Tour, Emmet Kelly
Museum,
Abraham to Jesus artifact exhibit
We always enjoy eating out together, and we have gone as a group
to most of the area restaurants.
